Dr Ben Atkins is the past President of the Oral health Foundation, and previous owner and Clinical Director of Revive Dental Care.
Since Ben bought his first practice in 2001, he grew Revive from a single dentist, single surgery practice, to a nine dentist, four surgery award winning practice. Growing the business from a £40k turnover to £4.3M. Ben also ran the emergency out-of-hours service in conjunction with NHS Direct, for seven Primary Care Trusts throughout the region, expanding his team to over sixty staff and dentists.
Ben has won the prestigious national Dentist of the Year Award and Northwest Young Dentist of the Year. Ben is the chairman of the Local Dental Committee of Salford. He is a member of the Modernisation of Dentistry Committee and advises on clinical matters for the Local Primary Care Trust.Ben believes the key to great dentistry is clear two way communication between patient and dentist. Ben is a regular contributor on Dentistry for TV, Radio, Newspapers and Magazines.
